Biblical Worldview
Our worldview is the filter through which we perceive life and its opportunities. It?s hard to believe, but very few Christians actually possess a biblical worldview.
Many view life through the wrong set of glasses. They don?t ask, ?Is it glorifying to God?? or ?Is it in accordance with Scripture?? Instead, they ask, ?Is it in line with the movement of our time?? or ?Is it culturally relevant??
This is one of Satan?s oldest and best tactics. He wants us to despise ?the same old thing,? and always want something new.
But in the spiritual life, the gospel message doesn?t change. It?s what Satan fears most because this ?same old thing? is what transforms lives and defeats the power of hell.
Have you lost the thrill and freshness of your walk with God? Does Christianity seem boring, just a lot of the same old thing? If so, you?re believing Satan?s lies.
Ask God to give you a fresh perspective on His truth. And then, try reaching out to others with His love.
The apostle Paul wrote, ?I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.? That?s Philemon chapter 6.
As you give the Good News, you?ll appreciate it anew yourself!
