Purpose Power

God has one holy purpose for our lives – to share His Good News with the nations – and He’s not going to stop until that purpose is fulfilled.

But the Lord does not do it alone. That’s why He gave us the power of the Holy Spirit. “If Christ is in you,” says the book of Romans, “the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you” [Romans 8:10-11].

When you have a desire to please God, guess what provoked that desire? The Holy Spirit. When you have a desire to do something good for somebody who is suffering, that comes from the Holy Spirit. When you have a desire to talk to somebody about Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit gives you the power to say the words.

The Lord is always working for His one holy purpose. And through the Holy Spirit, God makes you and me His right-hand men and women. When we depend on the Spirit’s power, we will fulfill God’s holy purpose.
