Am I Truly Saved?

There was once a Sunday school teacher, about 45 years old. He had ten young children in his classroom. He asked them, “Why do you think everyone around town calls me a Christian?” He received no response. Upon a second prompting, the room remained dead silent. Finally, one boy spoke up. “Maybe it�s because they don�t know you,” he said.

We can laugh at that because we can relate. Unfortunately, we all know people who claim to be Christian, or whose activities are “religious” in nature, but their character makes us wonder. Is that person a true Christian? Maybe you even wonder that about your very own SELF – asking, “Am I truly saved?”

I am here today to tell you that if you have received the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart by faith, Romans 8:16 in the Bible is for you. It says, “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God�s children.” You can look forward to eternal life with Him in heaven!

If you have confessed your sin and accepted the free gift of Jesus Christ�s sacrifice on the cross, stop doubting! Eternity in heaven is yours! Now that�s Good News worth sharing!
