Is it too Late?
A few years ago our team was in the midst of our live call-in Talk Show in Chicago. In the middle of the program, a teenage boy called up. His name was Mark.

Mark said to me, “Mr. Palau, when my father died, I cursed God. I was so angry that he died that I walked out of the church. For three years I’ve had nothing to do with God and nothing to do with the church or Jesus Christ or anything else.”

Then Mark asked me, “Mr. Palau, do you think that God would ever take me back into his church?” I was really moved by that.

This boy was only 17 years old, and yet he had this sense, “I’ve blasphemed God because my father died. I cursed him and I walked away from the church.” But Mark was repentant and his heart was broken. That night live on television, I helped lead this young man back to the Lord.

You know, there are many people who have walked away from the Lord, and are wondering the same thing: “Is it too late? Will God take me back?”

Jesus said in John 10:28 that those who come to Him will never perish and “no one can snatch them out of my hand.” You and I are called to be the voice of Christ, calling people back into His family.
