I brought a friend of mine and her mom to a Christmas lunch that my dad, Luis Palau, spoke at. Afterward, I asked them what they thought of what Dad said about salvation. My friend replied, “Well, that’s just too easy and too quick. I think there must be more to it than that.”

She thought that because salvation isn’t complicated, that it must not be right. But, that’s not true. God didn’t make salvation complicated. The Bible records in the book of Acts, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

It’s not complicated. God has made it very easy. There’s one way, one God, one plan.

Now, salvation wasn’t an easy and quick thing for Jesus Christ. In fact, He had to die to make salvation possible. But, it is easy for us. It is a gift and all we have to do is accept it.

This week, remember that the Good News is not complicated. When telling your friends about Jesus, keep it simple and watch God work.
